Jeremy’s Circle teens (ages 12 and up) are invited to join a writing workshop on TikTok, Instagram, and fake news. The workshop will be led by Nirit Zuk, a journalist, researcher, and expert on youth culture who writes in the parents section of Ynet about family experiments she conducts together with children, including what happens when children are allowed to be in front of screens 24/7. Why is gaming taught in Japan? What happens when a family only communicates on WhatsApp and doesn’t talk?

In the workshop, we will discuss screens, truth and fake news, our lives in recent weeks, and coping strategies to create balance. We will learn to write an opinion column for a newspaper and participate in a writing contest in which some of the columns will win publication in the online magazine «Ten Plus»

The workshop will be conducted in Hebrew.
