See the opinion columns written by our teens at  Ten Plus @ “Special project: What kids think about screens?”

TikTok, Instagram, Fortnight – let’s talk (and write) about it!

When: Tuesday, May 18th

Time: 1:00 PM via Zoom

Ages: 11 and up

What: A Shavuot event for teenagers, including a delivery of ice cream to your home and a competition with awesome prizes.

Your teens (ages 11 and up) are invited to join a conversation about TikTok, Instagram, Fortnight and a writing workshop with Nirit Tzuk, a journalist, researcher and expert on youth culture who does family experiments with her children, and writes about them in Ynet. For example, Nirit checked what happens when children are allowed to be in front of screens 24/7? Why is gaming taught in Japan? What happened when the family just communicated on WhatsApp and did not speak? And more.
In the meeting we will talk about screens and our lives in the past year, about ways of coping to create balance. We will learn to write an opinion column for a newspaper, and we will participate in a writing competition in which everyone wins amazing prizes, including publication in the online magazine “Ten Plus“.
Sign up below – today and save yourself a place for this fun and tasty event
