We continue to create memorable moments and to strengthen bonds among children and teens coping with cancer in the family, thanks to the support of our generous donors.
In 2020 we moved all our activities online to help stay healthy.
For example, we designed facemasks, baked vegan cookies, held sports challenges, enjoyed an interactive magic show, had a trivia contest, and went to the celebrated annual Festigal Chanuka show…and more…all virtually. Despite the limitations, our community of families is growing quickly and participation and engagement in our events remained high. Now, as Israel begins vaccinations, we are planning our events for 2021. We expect to continue with virtual events at least in the first quarter of the year, and we hope to introduce smaller, local events once safe. We are surveying our member families regarding how to best support them in this transition time.
